Michael Macho is the State President of the Kentucky Postal Workers Union, AFL-CIO and the President of the Radcliff Local No. 6662, AFL-CIO. Born and raised in Minnesota, he is a proud veteran who served 5 years in the United States Armed Forces both home and abroad before settling down just outside of Fort Knox, Kentucky. Michael is married with 1 son and 4 daughters, 3 of which have worked on multiple occasions for the APWU Auxiliary at our National Conventions and Craft Conferences.

He has spent the last 7 years working as a Lead Sales and Services Associate, and has diverse experience within the Clerk Craft; working as a Sales, Services and Distribution Associate, Bulk Mail Technician, and as a Complaints and Inquiry Clerk in the District Consumer Affairs office.

Michael has been a Union Officer for over 15 years, and was appointed as a National Arbitration Advocate in 2012. He is an instructor at the annual Tri-State Stewards School in Oxford Ohio, and served as the Chairperson for the Clerk Division Committee at the 2018 National Convention. He has been involved in a National Arbitration, as well as National Contract Negotiations. Michael currently serves on the Executive Board of the Kentucky State AFL-CIO.
